Keng Hong was the first in my FF group to turn 23 yr old! We all go along with Janice's plan and dine at Antoinette. My first time at the dining place itself, and the decoration was sooo beautiful and the dessert bar was super attractive!

i really like the super classy layout of the restaurant, it is really a nice place for some high tea session. *wink

Here's our main order for the night:

Country style mushroom soup. Leo was looking at the other table and saw them having the soup in the bread which looks good, so we decided to order one to share, end up, when this was being served, i think Leo got all the soup description being mixed up. and this reminds me that while looking through the menu, i keep grumbling that why there's no pictures for me to reference to. now you get my point? hahaha. and actually, looking at food photos attracts me more than reading it. LOL. but still, this single portion cost us $12++.

B ordered the Crab Suzette. taste pretty good, just that he doesnt have his tobacco sauce to go along with it. haha

KH had the Gnocchi Carbonara. smell real good and it is very cheesy! however, it seems like there is only potato in it.

& i wanna learn how to cook that egg at the top, J was telling me of the procedure, thn i was wondering, how do we remove it from the water? since its like so super fragile that its yolk is still watery, you knw what? B straight away answer that after cracking the egg in and see that it turn white, use your hand and immediately scope it out with care. i was like giving him the devil stare till Leo added in and agreeing with what he had said! thn i somehow like start to half believing them cause you know, you can dont believe in a person word, but when two person saying the same thing, you will start to believe it right? but end up, i was being fooled! ( okay im silly i know ). the two evil guy even bro fist each other! grrr.

J and I had the Seafood Alio Alio, not bad i must say, the seafood was very fresh! if it has soup base, i would definitely love it even more. opps, am a fan of soupy food!

Leo had the Ballotine de Poulet a la Grandmere. and he say that it taste really good too!

so overall, i guess we were all being statisfied with our main course over there. :)

Now, its the dessert time! because the bday boy wanted to head over to other place for another round of dessert, so we only manage to choose 2 cakes to try. :( all their cakes are so pretty and tempting! i really feel like ordering everything on the dessert bar.

for our choice, we had Antoinette. this is good! you bust that jelly on the top, jam will be flowing out from the jelly. its chocolate and it has earl gray taste too. and, there is ferrero biscuit at the bottom which gives you a very smooth and yummy experience!

next we had the Chloe. i still prefer the Antoinette as this is too creamy for our preference. it looks so pretty and sunshine, but only till the middle, thn you will get to taste the filling in it. but still, it is eye catchy enough. :)

Antoinette was great because we were celebrating birthday there, one of the cake that we had chosen for the birthday boy was on the house by them, and they decorated the plate with bday wishes!

oh! this was being served to us when we call for the bill, so unique! i like the box! and the lil piece of white paper in it cost us a bomb!

so after that, we head to bugis to have another round of dessert, but main reason was that because J baked a cake for KH, and it was not allowed to be cut in Antoinette. so plan B~

Went to our usuals dessert place. they ordered the dessert while J and i went back to the car to get the cake.

i really love snowice~~

my first time trying this but it was good! mango wrap with sticky rice and top with coconut flakes!

so we sneak attacked from the back to wish him happy birthday!

we had pool session after that and it was super epic! a great night spend together with the FF! cheers to 9 years of friendship! although we dont usually meet often, but when we do, we can talk and laugh non-stop! i like the feeling of this! they really care and concern abt the friendship, and its not about the quantity of time spend together, its the quality time spend together! plus, its the companions for that night which make it so enjoyable! me-love me-love! (Y)

every 28th of the month, B will bring me to good food (actually not only that day, cause normally he will still give in and satisfy all my cravings) :D, but thats how we usually spend our monthsary together, and only on special occasion, thn we will prepare gifts for each other, but this month, B was such a dearie and surprised me with this gift!

"My princess" charm from him, this was suppose to be the first charm from him but was oos at the other outlet at the time, and he didnt tell me that he planned to get this for me this month. i was so shocked when he took this out over the meal. before that, we were still talking abt it whereby he checked at the other outlet last month, there is this charm in the store. and he keep saying, maybe this month will be oos alrdy, which makes me feel a lil emo. cause dont you think that this charm is sooooo pretty and meaningful? okays, my lil fairytale dream w/in me start again. hahaha.

yeah, but still, im super shocked till my eyes turn watery, other than that, there is so many things that B wanna get for himself but he resisted cause he wanna save money, it touched my heart when i know instead of using the money to get himself something, he used the money to get me a present. i really feel so loved by him. :')

im really thankful to have met him, and made him mine. :)

B always say that there is nothing special about valentines' day cause everyday when we are together, it is valentines' day. yes it is sweet, but still, since there is a name for this date, we should at least recognize it right? haha.

to me, valentines' day is not only for couple, it is for family and for friends too! because it is for everyone that you love.

my nails for valentine's day! and i think this shall be the last nail art for now cause after which, its exams mood on alrdy! no more time to spend on my nails. :(

i'm really surprised that B actually say that we will be heading out to have dinner on our own despite the point that actually, there is a steamboat session held over at his place on valentine's day. :)

so based on the sentence on the top of this post, i tot this year valentine would be just a simple dinner with B. but im contented enough. but to my surprise, he has been such a sugarpie!

i head over to B's place first to wait for him to end work, but who knows, he is homed alrdy and when i step into the room to put my things down, i saw his bed was neatly tidied and a bouquet of roses was placed on his bed! totally surprised!

you know, roses was sold at a double pricing on the day of valentine itself? yet he still bare to buy it just for me! :')

For him:

this year, decided to get him a new belt which he love and i love. hahaha. and my handmade card just for him! :)

For her:

other thn roses, B got me a Pandora Bracelet! totally love it to the MAXIMUM! although the charm that i really love and the valentines' day series was not available, i still love the charm that B choose. thankyou so much B! <3

we head down to Spruce at the fire station to have our valentines' day dinner.

the food was ok, but the service was seriously, SERIOUSLY damn slow. okay, maybe cause its valentine's day and the waitress and waiter was all feeling moody cause they have to work on valentines day. but still, its really damn slow! we waited for 15mins or so just to get someone's attention to take order, food take a even longer timing to reach us, and they actually gave us the wrong billing!

but still, its the companion that is much more important that night right? :)

i was actually kinda mad at him when he keep using the ipad while we were waiting for our food, so i also use my phone lor. but this silly boy, using ipad to fb msg me a v sweet valentines day msg and after that show me this! it totally put a smile on my face instantly!

i love the smile on his face! :)

although there is no card on my roses, no handmade card from him, but i received the most creative and unique valentines' day wishes from him. thankyou for everything my sweetest boyf! im really blessed to have you as my valentine. 2nd valentine with you and many more down the road! i love you to the moon and back!

To love and to be loved is a bless.

I'm glad that i've found you and we will work hard together, hand in hand for a brighter future.

I think, as we grow older, we no longer feel excited about cny like how we used to feel when we were young. But still, cny has always been a festive which i love, cause its the only time (other than weddings etc) where everyone will gather together and update one another about our lives.

My outfit for the CNY! i used to look forward to cny because i get to buy new clothes, new shoes everything new! but for now, buying of new clothes no longer make me feel excited anymore. idk why. :( but still, got this piece of dress together with B just 2 days before cny! cause afterall, they say you need to get something new for the start of a new year. meh~

did my nails in the middle of night after the clock strike 12 and after wishing my parents happy cny. because as the tradition says, 守夜 on the first day of cny, your parents will have a longer lifespan. i want my parents to be with me always! so i gotta get myself occupied for the night to prevent myself from falling asleep. :)

and tada! not that beautiful i knw. :( but i still love!

so off we go bai nian lo!
with my most annoying yet loving siblings. we hardly take pics together. so im snapping away when there is a chance!

but my bro, why you give a stupid face eh?

i loveeee angbaos! i love all the wishes from my relatives when they gave me the angbao. hehes.

CNY with B's family

B's cousin just gave birth to a cute little girl! and just nice her baby shower fall on the 3rd day of cny, went down to JP to get her a present and head over to her baby shower party!

look at the princess! she is so cuteeeeeeeee. and thumbs up for her cause she can still sleep till so sweet in her own dream when the house was filled with noise!

and okay, i look like a nanny of the day in the house. LOL.

CNY with FF

our annual steamboat gathering!

friends for 9 years and still counting! although we dont meet up everyweek, but for special occasions, we make e effort to meet up! and our love and care for each other will never change. i love them sooooo much!

went for groceries shopping before heading to lyn's place. Wii was like a yearly affair at lyn's place while waiting for the rest to reach. disturbing and chit chatting over e dinner is one of the thing i love! totally love nights like this!

thank you guys for always being there for me! 3 cheers!

CNY with the PEEPS

2nd cny spend with these group of people! as usual, ZH has been a great host! really like a big family and i love the feeling! talking, cooking and filling up each other bowls is so much love!
i'm happy that i've met them in my life, to be my new clique of friends! :)

CNY with 38

i think this is the first year we are having cny steamboat but i believe, there is more to come! friendship for 6 years and still counting! they have been there with me through poly life and now uni life! whats more can i ask for when i have great friends around me right! :)

and, who say goat this year have good luck? i actually lose so much money during gambling! bad omen. :(

so afterall, cny is still lovable! i love gathering, i love food! i love all the people in my life! (Y)
